How did you integrate technology's
Hardwear
what is hardware, hardware is the physical technology some examples of hardware that we used is the camera and lighting equipment and the devises we edited on and the devises we communicated on.
Online
what is online, online is everything thing to do with the internet all our research and blogging was done online for us our main ways in using online and internet was for blogging and research purposes
Software
we used many different types of soft ware they included Adobe Premier Pro, Word, iMovie. we use Adobe premier Pro to edit all our camera work shops, I used Word to do all of my wright ups of workshops, and I use iMovie to edit our test shoot
Pre Production
For pre production the technology that we utilised the most was online, we used the Internet for all our research and planning and also to blog our entire process some of the key websites we used was Google in terms of Google we used it in everything we used it to access our emails to access all other websites and importantly do our extensive research. we also used YouTube often to look at inspiration from other film opening sequences this was a very vital part of our planning process and coming up with our ideas through using this platform we were able to integrate many ideas that we had found and then developed to use in our opening sequence. we also kept very strict updates on our Blogger documenting the entire process from pre production to production to then post production. This helps show what work we have been doing along this process. We also used many different independent websites to do extra research for example we looked at IMDB a lot for inspiration and also for research into our target audiences. We also used the Internet to communicate with each person in our production team we did this through email and on social media.
Other ways we integrated technology into our pre-production process was through hardware constantly throughout our pre production, production and post-production process we were all communicating on our phones this was a vital part of making our opening sequence happen also we did everything on our laptops we did all our research and planning on this devise We were able to do all our work quickly and efficiently.
Production
Production:
During our production process used predominantly hardware as our main technology we spent a long time preparing to use the equipment that we would give in and it allowed us to elevate our opening sequence by a large amount. the way we used our hardware equipment was we had many workshops before our filming day to set us up for the smoothest running day as possible the hardware we used included a Blackmagic mini Ursa we use this for all the filming we were able to carry it round with ease and made our opening sequence look really professional and gave us a range of skills that we would be able to carry on into future. For our shots that weren't handheld we used a tripod to hold the camera on this made sure that all our shots were stable and level we also used a Sennheiser microphone which we plugged in to the camera this allowed us to pick up the best quality sound possible it made sure all the dialogue was clear and it helped us ensure that our opening sequence would sound put together and professional.
Post Production
In post production the technology that we used the most and was most beneficial to us was software we edited our final sequence on Adobe premiere pro we had a few workshops on how to use this and was a very important opportunity as Adobe premiere Pro is used on some of the biggest films out there this allowed us to explore software that was new to us and gave us a professional and well edited sequence. During this editing process we learned lots of different shortcuts and ways to go round things and terminologies that helped us produce the best looking sequence that we could.
Even though software was the main technology used in post production we also used hardware as well we edited our final sequence on a Mac Pro 6 this made our editing process fast and smooth it allowed us to explore Adobe premiere pro in the best way possible.
